- Who We Are -

The HCBA is a non-profit association comprised of area builders, sub-contractors, suppliers, and affiliated members. The organization boasts 200 members and hosts and supports many local charity events. One such event was Thanksgiving, when the group hand-delivers approximately 90 meals to elderly individuals in the area. These people may not otherwise have a meal for Thanksgiving. In addition to displaying the holiday spirit, the group also gives away scholarships each year to students from Granbury, Tolar and Lipan High Schools.

HCBA has published a magazine featuring information about the builders and advertisements from associate members and those who have contributed to the building industry in the Hood and surrounding counties. This free publication can be picked up at area businesses, chamber of commerce or by calling the HCBA office at 817-573-4007.

Don’t miss your opportunity to visit the lovely Granbury area and to tour some of Granbury’s exquisite homes and meet many of the builders.

Our Charter

The Hood County Builders Association is a non-profit organization formed to operate for the benefit of builders, sub-contractors, and persons or firms and corporations engaged in allied trades, industries, businesses and professions in the county of Hood, of the State of Texas. Our membership consists of building trade professionals and supporting businesses. Each of our professional members subscribes and adheres to the Hood County Builders Association Code of Ethics and By-Laws.
